Avoid These Mistakes While You Make Efforts To Slim Or Lose Weight

Whatever task you undertake, if you keep committing the same mistakes that are committed by a host of others, it will not lead you to success. In the case of losing weight or fat, many people repeat the same mistakes committed by many others. Let us have a look.

- The first mistake usually committed by these people is to crash-diet or skip their meals. If you crash-diet or skip your meal, you will not become slim nor body will lose its weight. In fact, the body will go into a panic mode and will start assuming that food may not be available sufficiently in future. Therefore, whenever it gets food, it will start storing the calories in the form of fats. This will lead to increase in fat or weight. So, your aim of losing weight or fat by crash-dieting or skipping your meal will not succeed. On the other hand, you will be depriving your body of the essential nutrition it should get on a daily basis. This will lead to further complications like reduced resistance power and developing other health complications.

Especially, skipping the breakfast is the most foolish mistake that can be committed by people. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You should get the maximum nutrition from your breakfast. If it is not got, your performance throughout the day will be below the expected standards. So, you should avoid skipping meals and especially your breakfast.

- Secondly, people who want to slim or lose their weight, tend to overdo their exercises. This is not good at all. Experts suggest that you should do 45 minutes of cardiovascular and weight-training exercises to get the best results for losing fat or weight. Cardiovascular exercises will help you to lose your fat or weight but at the same time, you will lose your muscles also. Hence, weight-training exercises are suggested to replenish the lost muscles. A good weight-training exercise regimen combined with an intake of a good amount proteins will help you in building good muscles. When you begin your exercises regimen, you should be careful to increase the duration of the exercises gradually. If you overdo the exercises in the beginning itself, you may feel pain, uneasiness, etc. Some people may get sick also.

- Most importantly, you should pay attention to what you eat. Having a good exercises regimen for slimming or losing weight and simultaneously eating wrong foods will not help at all. Especially, junk foods and processed foods must be avoided totally. They do not contain any nutrition but they contribute heavily for weight and fat gains. Likewise, bottled drinks, sodas and juices that contain sugar must be completely avoided because they contain bad carbohydrates. Instead of drinking these things, you can drink plenty of water.

- The importance of water need not over-emphasized. You should not ignore this. You should drink at least 10 glasses of water daily. This will help you in reducing weight and fat.

By avoiding the above mistakes and adopting the right steps, you can definitely succeed in slimming and losing the excess weight. By doing so, you can prevent serious diseases like heart ailments, diabetes and blood pressure. Our body is the greatest gift of God and hence, you should do all you can to protect it from ailments and lead a healthy life.

Body Of FIRE Shake Diet - Our Experience (Day One)

I got my hands on a copy of Chad Waterbury's latest program which is called Body Of F.I.R.E.

An optional part of the program is the 'Shake Diet' which makes some pretty big promises like a lot of other weight loss programs on the market. As with anything I promote, I have to try it myself and see if it's the real deal or just a heap of (good) marketing.

I have enlisted the help of my wife Racheal to do it as well so you'll get some varying point of views.

Day One

Morning Shake @ 8am

James - Off to a good start. If you can't get the first meal or shake done properly on a seven day plan then you are going to struggle! Normally i would get up and have breakfast before going to bootcamp, but I just had a cup of tea when I got up and another on the drive there. After bootcamp I came home and made the first shake which was simple to make and tasted just fine.

I refuse to eat or drink anything that doesn't taste good, no matter how good it is for me. So the morning shake ticks off both of those boxes.

Racheal - I actually set my alarm and got up early to make sure I had my shake at the scheduled time, things didn't go according to plan with babies waking and needing changing but I made my first shake once this was out of the way. I am definitely not a shake kind of person, its usually the texture of the shake that I have trouble with so to be honest I was a little unsure about how this was all going to go down. To my surprise, the shake was delicious, way too filling and I couldn't get through it all but I very much enjoyed it!

Lunch Shake @ 12:30pm

James - I was surprised how easy this one was to make. No blender required here, just grab a shaker, add the ingredients and drink up. The biggest problem with this sort of plan (2nd shake into it!) is that you have too much time! Instead of spending heaps of time planning, preparing and eating your food, you just have to make a shake and eat/drink it.

Racheal - I fitted in a late workout today so my 12:30 shake didn't really happen until 1pm, but having said that, I wasn't feeling hungry so really had to force myself to have it. I had thoughts all day of eating something, this idea of drinking shakes all day didn't sit right in my head, I felt like I had to eat something, like chew something, even though I wasn't hungry.

Afternoon Shake @ 4:30pm

James - I had to train a client around this time so I didn't have access to the blender I would normally use. Instead I put the dry ingredients into a zip lock bag, and the other ingredients into the shaker and a plastic container. Because I didn't have the blender I actually ate most of this 'shake' and drank the rest of it. Energy levels are just like normal, it's just the abundance of time that seems to be an issue!

Racheal - I must admit I was kind of dreading another shake, and contemplated eating the spinach and berries separately just so I could eat something, but then though its easy just to throw everything in the blender for a few minutes and drink it. Once again, as with breakfast, I couldn't drink it all. Felt very full and the idea of swallowing it all down, just for the sake of it made me feel sick. I knew there was a chance I'd have to box and didn't want to be too full either.

Evening Shake - 8:30pm

James - This one is too easy. Just like the lunch shake, it's literally prepared and consumed within 5 minutes. This sort of 'fast food' is normally bad for you but I can guarantee that with the mix of ingredients in these shakes, you are getting plenty of nutrients. They are packed full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. Add some water and you stay full and full of energy for a long time.

During the day I had around 6 cups of green tea and a cup of coffee which would be about my regular intake. Having a drink at your side is an important strategy if you tend to eat when you are bored or have extra time.

Racheal - I actually didn't feel like this shake purely because I wasn't hungry. Even after my workout in the morning, and 2 hrs of Boxing and Zumba tonight. Quite a lot of workouts and still feeling re-fuelled and energetic which totally surprised me. Still feeling like I want to eat something, but only for eating sake, not because I'm hungry or needing too, probably more cause I'm bored. I'm looking forward to jumping on the scales in the morning to see if I have achieved any weight loss after day 1.

Николай Азаров неосторожно обещает к лету Налоговый кодекс

К концу апреля Министерство финансов планирует доработать и подать на рассмотрение Верховной Рады проект Налогового кодекса. Конечная цель правительства, по словам первого вице-премьера Николая Азарова, разработать на основе этого документа проект госбюджета-2008.

На днях состоялось второе заседание рабочей группы, посвященное этому вопросу. Участники встречи успели пройтись по четырем разделам проекта кодекса: о налогах на доходы физических лиц, об акцизных сборах, обсудили раздел о местных налогах и сборах и раздел, посвященный специальному налоговому режиму.

В проекте налогового кодекса, по словам Николая Азарова, будут учтены нормы, направленные на улучшение администрирования НДС. Господин Азаров уточнил, что на днях состоялось заседание временной следственной комиссии Рады по расследованию нарушений при возмещении НДС.

<В задачу этой комиссии входит не только выявление нарушений администрирования этого налога, неравномерности возмещения по регионам, но и разработка превентивных мер законодательного характера. Эти нормы попадут в документ>,- пообещал финансист.

В качестве одной из задач комиссия видит создание условий для автоматического администрирования НДС. Николай Азаров отметил, что по состоянию на начало марта около 10 тысяч налогоплательщиков уже предоставляют налоговую отчетность в электронном виде. Скоро это число увеличится: всего 23 тысячи налогоплательщиков заключили договора о предоставлении налоговой отчетности в электронном виде.

Кроме того, в ходе заседания рабочей группы было принято решение об унификации бухгалтерского и налогового учета. Опрошенные "i" бухгалтеры одобрительно восприняли идею. Сейчас эти виды учета несовместимы между собой, и бухгалтерам приходится выполнять много лишней работы. Унификация упростит им жизнь и позволит готовить отчетность быстрее.

Переход, конечно, займет некоторое время. В частности, разработчикам программного обеспечения придется внедрить новации в новых версиях своих продуктов. Однако это придется делать в любом случае, поскольку Налоговый кодекс будет содержать и другие нововведения.

Впрочем, пока невелика вероятность того, что правительство управится в срок и будет верстать бюджет на следующий год уже на новой налоговой базе. Во-первых, ряд министерств и ведомств стопорят процесс работы. Так, по словам вице-премьера, изменение основных налоговых параметров требует точных макроэкономических показателей, которые разрабатывает в том числе и Национальный банк. Однако такие расчеты, по словам господина Азарова, в Минфин так и не поступили.

Само Министерство финансов, правда, уже подготовило расчеты сводного бюджета на пятилетний период - с целью предусмотреть допустимые параметры изменений в проекте Налогового кодекса. Эти расчеты, по поручению Николая Азарова, еще раз до конца текущей недели Министерство экономики обязано уточнить. Однако в связи со сменой ключевых руководителей в министерстве, ведающих бюджетными вопросами (напомним, что вчера были уволены Анатолий Максюта и Людмила Мусина), работа Минэкономики определенно затянется.

К тому же, по информации "і", наиболее дискуссионные вопросы, традиционно провоцирующие длительные дискуссии в экспертных кругах (как то: администрирование НДС, налог на прибыль, налог на недвижимость, пересмотр ставок по различным налогам) еще не обсуждались членами рабочей группы.

Healthy Snacks Instead Of Junk Food Garbage

Healthy Snack Peppermint Balls

1 cup pitted dates



1 cup raisins



1 cup raw almonds



2 cups rolled oats



1 cup shredded coconut



2 Tbs raw grated chocolate



2 tsp vanilla extract



1/2 tsp peppermint extract



2 Tbs raw honey

Put the raisins and dates in your food processor and blend into small pieces. Add the almonds, oats, coconut, and chocolate. Blend until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add the extracts and honey. Stop the machine and try rolling a small amount into a ball. If the mixture doesn't bind, add extra honey or some apple juice. Store in your refrigerator until they're all eaten, which won't take long.

With healthy snacks, you'll save money and feel a whole lot better than you'll feel if you continue to consume convention junk food.
